Sabotage Studio announced Sea of Stars will be joining the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog when it releases on August 29th. It’ll be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and the Demo is now out. Sea of Stars has been five years in the making and Sabotage is excited to get it released.

Sea of Stars is a prequel to The Messenger as it poses being a Chrono Trigger spiritual successor.

It’s incredible for us to imagine how many more players worldwide will experience Sea of Stars and join the conversation around our project.”

Sea of Stars tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fighting off the monstrous creations of an evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer,

It has been a long time coming for this game since it was first revealed in 2020. Sea of Stars will release for Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch. You can download the Demo on the PlayStation Store.
