It was roughly a year ago that Systemic Reaction broke the news on Second Extinction. Taking place during Microsoft’s Xbox 20/20 in May, the game was then featured to arrive to Xbox, of course, alongside a debut for PC as well. And in the coming months, the game did later hit one of its aimed platforms surprisingly enough.
In that, Second Extinction arrived to Steam. But, the PC version on the Valve-owned storefront arrived at a later date than expected. Originally, the game was said to ship as an Early Access release in September, However, Systemic Reaction later organized a later launch for the PC version in October the month following.
Now with hopeful fans patiently awaiting an Xbox Game Preview version entering into 2021, Systemic Reaction shares that the port is coming this spring for current and last-generation Xbox. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:
“Gather your crew and get ready to reclaim Earth. Choose between a roster of specialized resistance fighters who each have a unique set of skills, a preferred range of weapons, and a rich and bloody past with the mutated monstrosities,” the synopsis reads on the game’s website. “Find the perfect combinations and synergies with the rest of your team, and watch as your enemies get decimated in an explosive symphony.”
