SEGA and RGG Studio’s Project Century is officially titled Stranger Than Heaven

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and SEGA have announced the official name of Project Century is Stranger Than Heaven. The news came during Summer Game Fest 2025 with a new trailer of the game. Project Century was first announced in December 2024 at the Game Awards.

Stranger Than Heaven is a brand-new game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, known for creating acclaimed series like Yakuza, Like a Dragon, and Virtua Fighter. The studio didn’t reveal too much of the game besides its setting and the main character you’ll play as.

A release window was not announced, nor were the platforms it’ll play on.

SEGA also announced that Sonic Racing: Crossworlds will be releasing this September, along with some crossovers of other IPs they own.
