While SEGA had a busy Summer showcasing their upcoming games like Sonic Superstars, Persona 5 Tactica, Persona 3 Reload and HYENAS, the company recently announced cancellations of projects. SEGA announced they have canceled their shooter game, HYENAS developed by Creative Assembly.

The upcoming Sega shooter was canceled along with several other unannounced titles under development. Other unannounced projects were canceled due to the lower profitability of the European region. The title portfolio of each development base in Europe was reviewed in response to this decision. HYENAS had been showcased at events like Gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show, but unfortunately, it did not make the cut.
