The long-awaited Session officially hit Steam’s Early Access just last month following the announcement from developer Crea-ture Studios. The team upon the announcement for the game’s premature release for PC shared that game is also expected to hit Xbox Game Preview for console in the following month to clean up the rough edges for those playing with controllers.

But according to a recent update by the team, those waiting on Xbox One will have to be patient just a little bit longer. Breaking the news on Facebook, Crea-ture Studios posted a statement regarding the game’s scheduled release for this month by revealing that the date had to be pushed to late November or possibly early December.

“Unfortunately, at this point, we need still need more time to port Session to Xbox One. That being said, we must postpone the Xbox One version release date to late November/early December,” Crea-ture discloses on the team’s Facebook page. “We know this sucks and we totally understand as we know you have been waiting to play the game on console for a while now. We know it’s not great news to hear, but it’s not particularly fun to announce either, especially for a small studio like ours.”

Understanding, it is unfortunate that the game would be delayed just quite a bit longer, but for the sake of giving a well-deserved first impression is convincing enough to wait until the team if finally ready to release the game for Xbox. Seeing that the team is unsure when exactly this is aside from the general timeframe, this does illustrate the hardening decision Crea-ture made to put your experience before meeting a deadline.
