Although the team can be quiet for months on end, Atlus has been very active in 2024 thus far. Mostly thanks to the release of Persona 3: Reload. Already, the game has broken a milestone selling more than 1 million copies. In our review, we wrote: “Persona 3 Reload is undoubtedly at the forefront of mainline Persona titles. Fans have been asking for a re-imagining of Persona 3 for the longest time and Atlus has finally answered their calls.”
And that’s just the start of it. In one report last month, it was indicated that Atlus is working with Netflix to make/port titles for the platform. Additionally, more Persona games are up for remakes as well. At least, according to a recent report where Atlus feels interested on the same treatment Persona 3 Reload is to its other entries as well.
At the Nintendo Partner Direct, Atlus & Sega revealed Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“Forge your path through a post-apocalyptic world in this definitive version of Shin Megami Tensei V. Two complete story paths await, including a brand-new storyline with new locations and demons, and where your choices will determine the fate of all existence. Navigate conflicting and tragic moral decisions and confront a dramatic tale of revenge or explore the original Shin Megami Tensei V saga,” the press release shares.
Of course, this is yet another Sega game added to the list for 2024. This year, another major release is set to out. In that, Metaphor: ReFantazio is planned to launch and is the developer’s ‘first ever full-scale fantasy RPG’. You can read the full report by heading here.
