Engaging in the growing repertoire of Yacht Club Games titles is becoming to be a side-job as new titles release periodically from the Shovel Knight team. Either from published titles like Cyber Shadow or the home-brew titles we know so well – there is more than ever. Previously, the developer confirmed it is working on a new IP with Mina the Hollower as it takes inspiration from the Game Boy Color era of titles.
Additionally, Yacht Club Games also officially rolled out another major title last year as well. Despite the initial announcement being made year prior, Shovel Knight Dig finally shipped back in September 2022. But, it does not end there. This week, Yacht Club Games revealed that Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is set to receive an influx of content as well.
On Wednesday, the game studio confirmed that a new free update ‘Puzzler’s Pack DLC’ will add a bevy of new content alongside reveals new platforms for the game is on the way. You can watch the DLC trailer in the video below:
“This GIGANTIC DLC Pack includes new playable characters, formidable ‘Quandary Challenges,’ neat new Relics, robust run modifiers, and expansive new areas to explore! Plus, it’s completely FREE – fans only need the base game to enjoy all the new content. This is just the first of three free DLC releases planned for the title, so stay tuned for even more puzzling action!” Yacht Club Games writes for the new add-on.
Moreover, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is also confirmed to receive officially mobile support via Netflix. The new version for iOS & Android is said to launch alongside the coming Puzzler’s Pack DLC. This is not the first a big name title got an exclusive mobile port through Netflix as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge also received the same treatment last year.
