Among the many franchises that were birthed from Bethesda in the two decades that the team has been standing, there is no entry that breaks sound waves like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In that, the game since its release back in 2011 has went on to break into new boundaries as time continued forward. Not only did it enter the realm of next-generation machines with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, but also tapped into virtual reality with a native port too.
But as the meme continues to roll forward with users joking about the game shipping to all platforms at some point, it is a literal arrangement that Bethesda has orchestrated. However, this is to continue as long as ports continue to be profitable, says game director Todd Howard previously. “If you want us to stop releasing it, stop buying it,” Howard explained then.
