Triborg Challenge

Smoke, Cyrax, and Sektor Triborg are this week’s MKX mobile Challenge

Well, MKX mobile fans, it’s Thursday once again. This week’s Character Challenge is actually three of them. Last week, it was Sub-Zero Triborg. Now it’s Smoke, Cyrax, and Sektor Triborg. Each of these Triborg characters has its own special abilities:

Smoke Triborg

For Smoke Triborg, it’s Assimilation Protocol 2.0:

“All Triborg Characters on your team gain Power Drain for Special Attack 1 and everyone on your team steals 50% of any Power they drain and it distributes them to the team”.

Cyrax Triborg

For Cyrax Triborg, it’s Assimilation Protocol 1.0:

“All Triborg Characters on your team gain increased Critical Hit Chance for Special Attack 1 and everyone else on your team gains +50% Critical Damage”.

Sektor Triborg

For Sektor Triborg, it’s Assimilation Protocol 3.0:

“All Triborg Characters on your team gain Fire for Special Attack 1 and everyone on your team deals 30% more Fire damage.”

Regarding the Challenge Towers, as usual, each of the first three have 12 Battles for each of the following: Bronze Characters only (I), Silver and Bronze Characters only (II), and Silver Characters only (III). For Smoke Triborg, Tower IV stipulates your team must be made up of only Female characters and Tower V stipulates Venomous D’Vorah must be on your team. For Cyrax Triborg, Tower IV stipulates your team must be made up of Gold Characters only and Tower V stipulates Commando Kano must be on your team. For Sektor Triborg, Tower IV stipulates your team must be made up of only Netherrealm Characters (although you can also pick dual-team characters like Dark Emperor Liu Kang, who is Martial Artist and Netherrealm) and Tower V stipulates Bojutsu Kung Jin must be on your team.

Clearly you don’t have to complete all of the Challenges if you don’t want to. But for “completionists”, you have your work cut out for you: at this rate, starting today, you have to complete an average of at least four challenges to get both tiers of all three Triborg characters. You’ll also have the chance to earn up to three tiers of Cyber Armor if you complete all these Challenges on Hard Difficulty.

One more thing: since there are four Triborg characters now, instead of three, shouldn’t they be called “Quadborg”? Sure “Quadborg” may not sound as cool, but given the root word of the name, it would be technically correct, right?
