After a year of the Nintendo Switch Online service launching, it has finally been announced that Super Nintendo games will be making their way to the service. The NES lineup has grown to around 40 titles over the last year, and the SNES lineup will start with 20 games that will be available starting tomorrow. The full lineup of games includes the following:

•Super Mario World™

•Super Mario World™ 2: Yoshi’s Island™

•Super Mario Kart™

•The Legend of Zelda™: A Link to the Past™

•Super Metroid™

•Star Fox™

•Stunt Race FX™

•Kirby’s Dream Land™ 3

•Kirby’s Dream Course™

•Super Ghouls’n Ghosts™

•Demon’s Crest

•Super Soccer

•Super Puyo Puyo 2

•Breath Of Fire

•Super Tennis

•Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics

A nice variety of SNES games and some fan favorites that fans have been clamoring for. The SNES service will continually get new additions similar to the NES library, although at what rate remains to be seen. With NES game additions usually bringing in 2-3 titles a month, it begs the question if SNES games will be included in that number. Super Nintendo games will also include all of the features found on the NES titles including online play, save states, and the rewind function.

Another addition the Switch Online service will include a wireless SNES controller that can be purchased for $29.99. This offer is only available to subscribers of the service with a limit of 4 per Nintendo account.
