Sonic 3 has finished filming

The Sonic movies have been a great success through its first two films and Sonic 3 is planned for a release on December 20, 2024. A lot of rumors have been swirling about other actors getting involved like Krysten Ritter who is linked to Rouge the Bat and Hayden Christensen who is rumored to voice Shadow in the upcoming film.

In a recent interview with The Playlist, James Marsden (Tom Wachowski) was interviewed along with Michael Keaton to talk about some of their past movies and what they have coming up. James was asked about Sonic 3 and he confirmed in the interview that Sonic 3 has wrapped filming.

The interview didn’t reveal too much, but the good news is that Sonic 3 seems to be on track to release this December.
