Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024, and the excitement for the film has been Shadow the Hedgehog. Paramount and Sega finally revealed that Keanu Reeves will be the voice of the iconic hedgehog that was teased at the end of the second film. In an exclusive post from Entertainment Weekly, it was revealed that there will be another new character at the end of Sonic 3.

Sonic 3 will introduce a new character at the end of the film to set up future films such as the fourth Sonic movie. Which character that will be remains to be seen, but there is a lot of speculation about Silver the Hedgehog being the next one.

It has also been officially revealed Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be 1 hour and 49 minutes making it the second-longest film in the trilogy. The movie is confirmed to be PG instead of PG-13, which was speculated based on a leak.
