Originally, the upcoming Sonic movie was supposed to launch this coming November. After complaints about how the main character looked in the movie, the team decided to re-work it all and they were still going to launch it at the already announced date. Now, according to James Fowler’s latest tweet, the live-action movie has been delayed until February 14th, 2020.

This news is for sure going to make fans more eager to see it and probably more angry that it’s delayed a few months back. The artists working on this movie want to make sure they get Sonic just right because if they don’t fans will not be happy and will be in an uproar. This delaying of a movie is the same way video games get delayed, they need to polish them up a little bit more so it’s perfect or just about that.
There wasn’t much else released about the delay so far besides that tweet.
Stay tuned for more updates.
