Today, Sony finally announced their plans for E3 2018 and it looks like it will be a little different than usual presentations they’ve done. On Tuesday June 11th at 6:00pm Pacific Time as Sony will share a preview of what’s next for PlayStation.
Sony will also be taking a break from the normal tradition and are giving us an early glimpse at what to expect heading into the showcase on June 11. PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios will be at E3 in full force to provide you with an exclusive look at four upcoming titles: Death Stranding from Kojima Productions, Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch, Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games, and The Last of Us Part II from Naughty Dog.
The company also promises stellar announcements from third-party publishers and independent developers, who are all busy devising innovative new experiences that will make your heart race and your emotions soar — whether you’re playing on PS4, PS4 Pro, or PS VR.
It’s safe to say that two of the third party titles that we’ll most likely see are Red Dead Redemption 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Shawn Layden also revealed today on the Blogcast that there are no plans for new hardware announcements at E3 this year. Instead, the focus for this year’s showcase very much seems to be the four announced titles Layden discussed on the Blogcast.
