This week is going to be large for the video game industry. We will have the release on the Switch 2, Summer Game Fest, IO Interactive Showcase, the Xbox Games Showcase, and now Sony has announced a State of Play for tomorrow, June 4.
The State of Play will go live on YouTube and Twitch at 5:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM CEST. Sony confirmed there will be news and updates on games coming to PlayStation 5.
The June 2025 State of Play is also expected to be around 40 minutes long.

We should expect several first-party games at this State of Play, but also third-party releases. Rumors have indicated today that Resident Evil 9 might be revealed here, along with Starfield coming to the platform.
One of PlayStation’s biggest releases this year, Ghost of Yotei could also make an appearance.
