It was all about games when the PlayStation 5 Showcase took off, but Sony waited until the end to show off what the PS5 looks like finally. Microsoft revealed the Xbox Series X at The Game Awards in December and all eyes were on Sony to show off the PlayStation 5.

The PlayStation 5 will be shipping with the DualSense controller and from what it looks like the PS5 will be the biggest console in this upcoming generation. As the Xbox Series X looks a lot smaller, but is looking like the most powerful console we’ve seen.

Along with this reveal we learned that Sony will be shipping a Digital Edition of the PlayStation 5 providing what we assume, a cheaper option to gamers.
Sony has stated that the PlayStation 5 is still on schedule for a Holiday 2020 release. A price point has not been announced yet regarding both Sony & Microsoft’s console.
Here are the PlayStation 5 specs:
- CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.5GHz.
- GPU: 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz, RDNA 2 architecture.
- RAM: 16GB GDDR6.
