Now players will have yet another offer that might be hard to refuse. In an announcement made by Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Funimation, Discord Nitro owners will be gifted with a free month of the anime-streaming service.

Furthermore, Funimation goes on to clarify in the tweet’s thread that this promotion will only be valid for participants residing in the United States or Canada. Adding on, those anticipating to take on this offer can only do so if they have yet to be a Funimation member for the service.

To unlock this promotion for Discord Nitro owners – simply open your Discord launcher, enter the gift Center, and you be greeted with a promotion window which will gift you one free month of Funimation. From there, you will be provided with the endless slew of animes and movies provided on the video streaming service.

According to users in the Twitter thread, Funimation initially announced that Nitro subscribers in the United Kingdom and Ireland will also be valid for the promotion, but the statement was later deleted. Perhaps the offer will come to more regions in the coming future when both parties settle on how to do that.

Discord Nitro is available for $9.99 a month or $99.99 for the yearly plan.
