GfK Chart-Track revealed that the PS4 posted its most successful week since its launch, and once again thanks to the Black Friday deals that cut the price down largely. The Xbox One shipped around 50,000 during the commercial holiday period, while the PS4 came in at 142,578 units according to Games Industry.
UKIE and GfK Chart-Track did not reveal any specifics on how any of the consoles did so takes these figures with a grain of salt. The PS4 deals on Black Friday were amazing in America with the $250 Uncharted 4 bundle and you’d get an additional 2 games with it and that was the PS4 Slim not the original console. In the UK the under £200 bundle flew off shelves as well.
It’ll be interesting to see who will take this month’s NPD as Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all had great months.
