South of Midnight release date to be revealed at The Game Awards

The Game Awards is less than a week away from going live on Thursday, December 12. There have been a lot of industry insiders saying this year’s show is going to be very big. This is in regard to announcements, awards, and performances. It was already announced that Snoop Dogg will be performing at The Game Awards.

According to recent leaks, Xbox will have an appearance showcasing South of Midnight and revealing it will be released in March 2025. This is according to Extas1s, who revealed in a video on YouTube that South of Midnight will get a date reveal via a trailer during The Game Awards.

This has also been backed by notable insider, Shpeshal Nick on X (Twitter). As usual, with leaks like this, we take them with a grain of salt, but this information is coming from proven insiders with knowledge around Xbox.

What Is South of Midnight?

South of Midnight is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Compulsion Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is an Xbox Series X|S console exclusive and will be released on PC. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also get access to the game on Day One.
