For long-remembered franchises such as Crash Bandicoot and even Spyro The Dragon, both made its impressions with three mainline installments before stranding onto spin-off releases alongside other projects using the respected property. However, Activision did catch onto the request of the very patient fan base behind the Naughty Dog-developed trilogy and later unveiled an official game is on the way.

Announcing Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, the game’s titling while a play on words is also a new experience that fans can enjoy as different stretches of time plays a new role in the latest entry in the series. But now, it looks that developer Toys for Bob is also looking to give Spyro The Dragon the same treatment in the coming future as well.

Uncovered in the official art book for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, it is found that the team might be poking at an official Spyro The Dragon 4 game. You can view the image in the tweet below:

“In the far background is Dingo’s Diner, and Crash is trying to get there. This is a takeout, where cars drive through, and Crash is jumping between the cars that are having their orders taken,” the description in the title reads. “It was fun to combine Dingo’s Diner with the futuristic element, to have those cars flying with the city down below… and a little hint at Spyro.”

For now, there is no certainty as to what will come for the Spyro The Dragon series currently, but this new tease does illustrate a path as to what might come at a later time. For now, the theory is only hard speculation as neither Toys for Bob nor Activision commented to verify the tease to legitimately suggest Spyro The Dragon 4.
