Splatoon x The Legend of Zelda Splatfest announced for May

Nintendo announced there will be a new Splatoon 3 Splatfest and this time it will feature The Legend of Zelda. It’s no coincidence this is happening since Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom will be releasing on May 12.

The Zelda themed Splatfest will take place from May 5 8 PM ET  until May 7 8 PM ET. The three teams will be Team Courage, Team Power and Team Wisdom and players will choose one to they’d like to represent in this weekend event. 

Along with this event there will be a unique version of Scorch Gorge for Tricolor Turf War making it themed after Zelda.

Along with this Splatfest, Nintendo is selling Splatoon x Zelda T-shirts at their online store. 

This wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo hosted a Splatfest that collaborated with another gaming franchise as they did one with Pokemon Violet & Scarlet in November.
