Splitgate: Arena Warfare’s Season 0 Launches This Week

While Halo Infinite continues to shape its new future as a free-to-play experience for later this holiday, 1047 Games is using the remaining airwaves for its continuously growing Splitgate: Arena Warfare. In 2020, fans witnessed the PC release of the game which showed potential for what could come when the game reaches the lengths of console owners in the coming future.

Later on, the game studio went on to announce that the game is arriving to Xbox & PlayStation later in 2021. Even more, users can anticipate even more flexibility as the game will also incorporate cross-platform play between all supported formats for Splitgate: Arena Warfare. However, ahead of its release – actually a day before – 1047 Games delayed the game until August the month following.

But in a new announcement on Wednesday during Gamescom Opening Night Live, the developer announces to be releasing Season 0 for Splitgate: Arena Warfare immediately. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

As part of the announcement for the first official content season for Splitgate: Arena Warfare, 1047 Games introduces a reworking of the map Outpost with Karman Station. Additionally, the team injected other features such as a progression battle pass, game mode Contamination, Casual Team Rumble playlist, and even incorporated a final kill cam as well.

Of course, there is also a selection of quality of life changes that are coming to the game such as overtime for a selection of game modes and a custom game browser. Additionally, players that play competitively can now find Diamond and higher in the playlist now.
