
Currently, Kingdom Hearts fans that own Xbox Game Pass are indulging in the two additions of both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue were added to the Netflix-esque video game service earlier this month. But now, it doesn’t look like that is all the relevant news that was unveiled for the Square Enix property this month.
In a new announcement trailer, Square Enix shares a new title for the series is coming to all major platforms later this year. Revealing Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, the new experience is a rhythmic adventure where Sora and other prolific characters of the series fighter their way to the beat of notorious scores for the series.

The trailer also surfaced with a website which gives a brief synapse of the game and spares some details on the coming experience. “Many characters from the Kingdom Hearts series appear as playable characters! Depending on the stage, Disney characters will appear as guests and lend you their strength.
“The game features a massive catalog of over 140 songs, including music from the Kingdom Hearts series, Disney, and more. Enjoy rhythm-based action through unforgettable music. There are four play modes including online battles.” An approximate release date has not be presented with the announcement, but Square Enix does share that Melody of Memory will arrive sometime in the latter of 2020.
In other Kingdom Hearts-related news, more reports of an alleged Kingdom Hearts television series has emerged this month. Entertainment industry insiders have shared to hear whispers of the rumored production and one claims Square Enix is now helming the project as the show will be developed using Unreal Engine 4.
