S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has finally released across PC and Xbox Series X|S as of November 20, 2024. After years of development and numerous delays, GSC Game World has achieved success with the game. Within its first two days of release, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

The announcement was made on Friday, November 22, 2024, on social media where GSC Game World thanked all of its community.

Not only has S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl sold over 1 million copies. It has reached an all-time peak on Steam of over 117K concurrent players within its first day. 

Not every launch is perfect. The community has reported multiple in-game bugs, some of which have already been addressed. GSC Game World asks players to submit feedback on its support website so they can make the best experience possible for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
