Ok, let’s get right down to it. The Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay Trailer was revealed today and you can see it below. The game will release November 17th on Xbox One and PS4 with Xbox One getting it five days early through EA Access on November 12th with a max of 10 hours of gametime, just like Battlefield Hardline. If you pre-order the game, you get early access to the Battle of Jakku dlc pack on December 1st. Everyone else will have to wait until December 8th, one week later. The official release on Battle of Jakku is:

The pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet on the Outer Rim. Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The player count will be maxed at 40, 20 per team, and you will be permitted to customize your characters within reason. Appearance, gear, weapons, etc are all able to be custom fitted and more information on the various options are forthcoming at a later date. There will also be no campaign mode in the game. Battlefront will instead have crafted missions that you can complete solo or in co-op mode both on and offline. The crafted missions are similar to Titanfall from what we are hearing. The game will cost the standard $59.99 but the deluxe edition for $69.99 will include the following bonus items

DL44 blaster – as made famous by Han Solo

Ion Grenade

Ion Torpedo

Ion Shock (exclusive emote)

Victory (exclusive emote)

Shown areas of gameplay in the trailer below feature Endor with battles between rebels and storm troopers as well as AT-AT’s. Y-Wing fighters come swooping in and we are even able to play as both Darth Vader and Boba Fett as well. Hoth is another area shown in the trailer reveal also. We also know that Sony has struck some sort of marketing deal with EA for the game. If you notice, the reveal trailer is completely absent from Xbox Wire, which never happens for a new game on the console. The only trailer images posted were to twitter accounts of company representatives like Major Nelson. This happened previously with Destiny, resulting in Microsoft coming up with that Destiny perfume to circumvent the block. Take a look at some screens and the trailer at the bottom as well. Is it November 17th yet? IS IT!
