While Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most beloved entries in the history of the franchise’s line of video game adaptations, many believed that the IP deserves a reimagining for newer hardware. After claims of the game to be underway, developer Aspyr Games revealed that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake is on the way for PlayStation 5. However, the specific series is also breaking into new mediums.
In one report from Buzzfeed, the video game series is being adapted into a full-length motion picture. Although much of the details on the production was limited at the time of the announcement, Laeta Kalogridis (Avatar, Altered Carbon) is involved in penning the script for the upcoming film.
From the Nintendo Direct this week, Aspyr Games returns to announce that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is receiving a port to Nintendo Switch. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Hero or villain, savior or conqueror… you alone will determine the fate of the entire galaxy!” in regards to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from Aspyr elsewhere, the team earlier released the mobile version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II for mobile.
