Although the Star Wars franchise – within the realm of video games – is still continuing forward, many fans believe that the series that defines interactive experiences for the Star Wars brand is due for a comeback. That being Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, there has yet to be an installment to meet the scale and ingenuity that reached to so many fans nearly two decades ago.
While there are talks of a potential remake for the entirety of the Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic arc, there has still yet to be a definite foundation to support the claim. But while fans are still left waiting in the void, there is the opportunity to revisit the classic era of games for the beloved users of the series.
Coming from developer Aspyr, the team responsible for Star Wars Episode I: Racer, the team is shipping a port for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II on both The App Store alongside Google Play Store today. You can watch the trailer for the new release in the video below:

Elsewhere previously in relevance to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, it was reported that a film based on the series is underway.
