It was not too long ago where Star Wars Squadrons was leaked through the Xbox website. Today EA showed of its first look of the new aerial/space combat title with its release date aimed for October 2, 2020.

Star Wars Squadrons will be in first-person as many expected it to be a potential third-person aerial shooter and it’s set after the events of Return of the Jedi. Developed by Motive Studios and will include single-player campaigns as well as multiplayer.

At launch the game will support cross-play between Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. The PC version of this game will support VR from the moment it launches.

We can expect a proper gameplay demonstration on June 28th at EA Play 2020.

There hasn’t been any word as far as will Star Wars Squadrons be supported on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but we’d like to think that will be the possibility.
