Starfield reached over 12 million players since its release

CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer was in attendance at CCXP 2023 and there was an interview held where the Xbox chief talked about Starfield. Phil confirmed that Starfield has now reached over 12 million players since its release on September 6, 2023. 

“In fact, Starfield has now had 12 million players since the launch of Starfield and it still sits in our top 10 most played games from our studios,” said Phil Spencer. 

In the middle of September, Bethesda revealed Starfield had just over 10 million players and it was already the biggest launch ever for them. The benefit of Xbox Game Pass most definitely helps with the boost in players for Starfield, but it looks to be growing over time.
