Steam will refund Helldivers 2 even if you played for 100 hours

Helldivers 2 has been the trending topic this weekend with the news of PC players being required to link a PSN account. Since that announcement, Helldivers 2 has seen over 80K negative reviews on Steam, which continues to climb. It’s not getting to the point where Steam is allowing refunds even if you played the game for 100 hours.

One PC player shared that a refund on Steam worked and this person did put 97 hours into the game. Usually, you can refund games but that would be if you played the game under just a couple of hours. This is taking the situation to another level.

Sony has not commented on this decision yet. While the negative reviews pour on, Helldivers 2 is getting more premium content with the Polar Patriots Warbond releasing on May 9. The only way to play the new Helldivers is on PlayStation 5 or PC. An Xbox version is not available yet.
