Stellar Blade has been available on PlayStation 5 since 2024, and this month it launched on PC for the first time. In the first 3 days of its release, it sold over 1 million units on PC via Steam. According to a report from PlayForum, Shift Up is developing a Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade.

The outlet shares that Shift Up recently secured a Switch 2 developer kit, and the work on bringing Stellar Blade to the console has begun. They also said they have begun designing content that reflects the Switch 2’s low-power architecture, unique portable interface, and mobility-centered user experience, based on the graphic implementation capabilities and platform-specific optimization experience.

Shift Up has not confirmed that they are working on a Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade. As usual, we should take reports like this with a grain of salt. However, the Nintendo Switch 2 has already sold over 3.5 million units in its first 3 days of release, making it the fastest-selling console launch in history.

Third-party developers will be hungry to get their games on the latest and hottest console.
