In the whole sphere regarding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, it happens to be the Rocksteady Studios’ most messiest release. While there is certainly aspects of the game that many will adore, the live-service approach is not one many appreciate. Even promising no expiring battle passes, the damage is already done. At its peak, the Steam concurrent player count faces just under 13,000 players upon its release.

Even more, the game is still online – regardless if you are playing with friends or by yourself. With promises for an offline mode, fans were already underwhelmed for the game. Another is the introduction of Elseworlds. Although not the idea of post-launch content, but more so the concept of introducing a new Joker character that will be playable.

And with Season 1 on the way, Rocksteady Studios confirms that The Joker will officially be out for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on March 28th later this month.

Already, many users online are very vocal about the representation of continuing characters carried over from the Batman Arkham series. With how the game portrayed the late-Kevin Conroy, fans of the property are left upset with the legacy built for the voice actor left for nearly three decades to end in such a state.

What’s more is the promised longevity for the Arkham universe. Although there are plans for new titles set within the DC Comics Cinematic Universe, James Gunn reassures Arkham-verse projects will not be put to rest. You can read the full report by heading here.
