Although introduced as an exclusively single-player experience, the Batman Arkhamverse is currently a live-service model with the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. However, developer Rocksteady Studios confirmed the game is preparing an offline mode coming later this year. Thus far, plans for the game that rolled out is Season 1 with playable character The Joker earlier this spring.

Scheduled for July 11th, the firm also released a roadmap sharing its planned content including the next playable character, Mrs. Freeze. However, the update has now been pushed to July 25th.

“Update: Task Force X, we’ll be adjusting the release timing for the next season, #SuicideSquadGame Season 2 will now launch on July 25. Thank you for your patience,” the game studio announces in a X post on the official profile. The new items to come in-game include weapon sets, themed-cosmetics, and a fresh battle pass alongside new Elsewhere missions.
Rocksteady Studios did confirm that the battle pass system does take inspiration from Halo Infinite. In that, there is no time limit on when to complete these content trackers and can grind through them at your own pace. You can read the full report by heading here.
