Bandai Namco had a busy Thursday as the company took part in announcing Patapon 1+2 Replay, Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, and Tamagotchi Plaza during the Nintendo Direct. The latest entry into the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series, Tamagotchi Plaza will bring back the unique feel of setting up quirky shops.
The Great Gotchi King declared the Tamagotchi Fest will be held in the most exciting city of Tamagotchi Planet. It will be up to the player to help Prince Tamahiko turn Tamahiko town into a lively place fit to welcome the festival.
Tamagotchi Plaza brings 12 different shops for players to enjoy around the town’s plaza, from returned classics found in the Corner Shop series like the Dentist to new establishments like the Afternoon Tea Shop, the Eyewere, or the Galette shop.
Some shops allow players to share a controller for offline two-player co-op mini-games with a friend. Additionally, Tamagotchi Plaza features a linking function with the latest toy model, Tamagotchi Uni.
Tamagotchi Plaza comes to Nintendo Switch on June 27, 2025.
