Tekken 8 sold over 2 million copies in its first month

Bandai Namco released Tekken 8 on January 26, 2024, across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a total of 1 million units sold worldwide on its first day alone. Today, Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 sold over 2 million copies in its first month of release and the company confirmed support for the game will continue through various content updates, esports events, and more.

The next big event for Tekken 8 is the Tekken World Tour 2024 which begins on April 13, 2024. Bandai Namco also shared that the Tekken Shop will make its way into the game providing customization items such as costumes from previous installments, character skins for avatars, and licensed items from collaborations.

Tekken 8 still has millions of copies to sell to catch Tekken 7 which has the highest sales record for the series at 11.8 million sold worldwide.
