Bandai Namco Entertainment is getting ready for its release of Tekken 8 on January 26, 2024, for Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5, and PC. With a new Tekken title coming out means a new era of esports and Bandai Namco has revealed some news regarding the Tekken World Tour 2024 with new partnerships with major brands.
First off, the Tekken World Tour 2024 will kick off on April 13 at EVO Japan with Tekken 8 as the main title and will include both global and regional competitive leaderboards.
The major partners for this year will include Chipotle, Venum, Uniqlo, and Victrix by PDP. They’ll be the names you will see around any Tekken World Tour event.
The Tekken World Tour will have two Master+ qualifying events starting with EVO Japan 2024 on April 27-29. Competitors are able to register now until March 22. The Tour will also see the return of Master, Challenger, and DOJO in-person competitions. The top players from each event type will be awarded points, with the highest point earners on the global and regional leaderboards eventually advancing to the Global Finals to compete for the title ‘Tekken World Tour 2024 Champion”.
