For those who might recall the latest craze that began to take flight at the beginning of the new decade is Temtem, an online MMO offering players an expansive world with unique creatures to collect and study for exciting battles to take on. Essentially a new take on what has only been operated through Nitnendo’s Pokémon, Temtem holds a lot of potential to continue growing just from its initial glowing that shined at the start of 2020.
And while the game has only resided uniquely to PC, developer Crema announced that the game will be expanding to new platforms later on. Unveiled during the recent PlayStation State of Play livestream earlier today, Temtem will debut for consoles with a PlayStation 5 version slated to arrive sometime in 2021.

“Temtem is a massively multiplayer creature-collection journey where you seek adventure in the lovely Airborne Archipelago alongside your Temtem squad,” the overview for the game reads on a blog post. “Players can catch every Temtem, challenge other tamers, customize their house, or join a friend’s adventure in a fully co-op experience.”
Alike with the current version out now, the coming iteration for PlayStation 5 is also posed to offer the same enticing experiences like 2v2 battles and dedicated online interactivity. However, the studio does not disclose what the Temtem could benefit from being available for PlayStation 5. The most ambitious prediction could be cross-play support for the game leading up to the game’s release next year.
In a separate announcement made during the same State of Play presentation, developer Thekla Inc. announced Braid will be returning with an Anniversary Edition sometime in early 2021. The new version reworks the game’s breathtaking aesthetic and reiterates on the ambitions of the original 2008 title. You can read the full report by heading here.
