Although Microsoft is stealing the momentum in terms of the video game streaming services with Xbox Game Pass, Sony is still present with its own in-house PlayStation Plus. Even more, the firm despite its focus on maintaining its popularity with the success of PlayStation’s first-party lineup is preparing to combat its competitor leading forward.
In that, Sony Interactive Entertainment President & CEO Jim Ryan announced that Sony will be conjuring something that will keep up with Xbox Game Pass’ success. “There is actually news to come, but just not today,” Ryan answered TASS in an interview back in December.
But for now, Sony Interactive Entertainment welcomes three new games to its library for PlayStation Now. Here are the newest additions arriving today to the service:
Frostpunk: Console Edition
Surviving Mars
The Crew 2
One note, while added titles for PlayStation Now are expected to remain on the service for quite some time, The Crew 2 is a different story. Sony Interactive Entertainment adds that the Ubisoft Montreal sequel will only be available from now until July 5, 2021 – giving the game a six month period until its departure.
Elsewhere today, Microsoft injected another handful of games for its own Xbox Game Pass. Those titles includes eFootball PES 2021, Torchlight III, and Injustice 2. You can read the full report by heading here.
