The Game Awards will be returning this year, Geoff Keighley announced who is the host and the brains behind the awards show. This year The Game Awards will celebrate 10 years that will share world premieres, new game announcements and more importantly give awards out to hard working developers, voice actors and more.
The Game Awards will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 7. Public ticket sales for the show will go live this Fall with more information being provided of what we can expect for award nominees and more.

Geoff Keighley announces this shortly before he hosted Gamescom Opening Night Live where there will be multiple announcements for upcoming games this Holiday season including for Modern Warfare III and Mortal Kombat 1.
