At the start of the year, Nintendo did an overhaul for the future plans regarding Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. Instead of developer Game Freak working to a third game which would include a different experience from the initial duo of titles, the firm shared that a content overhaul will be expected with an Expansion Pass for players to pick up instead.

What the contents of this Expansion Pass will include reveals to offer fans two new story experiences: The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra. Each offering their own unique region to explore, players can also find and abundance of Pokémon to be included with each arrival. However, Nintendo at the time failed to leave out a specific release for either add-ons.

Now in a new announcement, Nintendo unveils that The Isle of Armor will officially ship in the middle of June. With that, Nintendo also revealed added Gigantimax and Galarian regional Pokémon users can find when exploring the two new expansions. Here is the full list of featured Pokémon shared today:

The Isle of Armor

  • Galarian Slobro
  • Gigantamax Balstoise
  • Gigantamax Venusaur

The Crown Tundra

  • Regieleki (Legendary)
  • Regiefrago (Legendary)
  • Galarian Articuno
  • Galarian Zaptos
  • Galarian Moltres

Players can also induge in new features that will be introduced with the arrival for The Isle of Armor such as Cram-o-matic which is essentially a recycling composter that turns compiled items into a new items. Feeding it medicines and Pokéballs will provide new items as you will find out. Players will also stumble upon new tutor moves when initiating the add-on.

Fire-type move Burning Jealousy and grass-type Grassy Glide are shared to be new additions when The Isle of Armor arrives. Players can also concoct Max Soup when entering this new expansion which allows the Pokémon that consumes the soup to hold power similar to a Gigantimax Pokémon.
