The Last of Us Season 2 Arrives April 2025

Sony announced updates on some of its active adaptations as well as revealing what will be coming next. Among the announcements at CES 2025 was a new trailer for The Last of Us Season 2. The new trailer gives us a better look at the main characters such as Ellie, Dina, Abby, and Joel. 

The Last of Us Season 2 will begin in April 2025 exclusively on HBO and on Max.

It was already confirmed The Last of Us Season 2 will feature 7 episodes in total. It was already confirmed there will be a Season 3 which will be larger and there have been discussions of a Season 4, but that has yet to be determined. 

In other news, Sony announced Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Anime Series that will be exclusively on Crunchyroll when it premieres in 2027. There will also be a live-action Helldivers movie from Sony Pictures.
