The Last of Us Season 2 began filming at the start of 2024 and is expected to release in 2025 exclusively on Max. The adaptation is expected to follow the video game storyline and it was already reported Pedro Pascal already wrapped filming as of March 2024.

Season 2 is still in production and currently filming at the Diana Krall Plaza in Nanaimo, BC Canada. The codename they’re using for this filming session is Mega Sword and will only be there for two days May 13 and May 14. You can see the notice image below:

The Last of Us Season 2 is rumored to premiere in March or April 2025.
