The Possibility Of Another Playstation Portable Could Be Likely

The new chief of Sony Interactive Entertainment John Kodera has spoken before already about the future of the Playstation as a brand and his opinion on portable gaming. And now more has emerged on the chances of seeing Playstation trying to take another chance at the portable gaming scene.
In a Bloomberg interview, they spoke about Kodera’s interest in portable gaming for Playstation. That Kodera even hinted that the next generation console might even have integration with portable devices. Stated by Kodera on the topic:

In my opinion, rather than separating portable gaming from consoles, it’s necessary to continue thinking of it (portable gaming) as one method to deliver more gaming experiences and exploring what our customers want from portable

With the recent news of the Playstation Vita dropping physical copies for the portable device in all regions excluding Japan, it is interesting that Kodera is eager to try to have another go at portable gaming for Playstation. And following rumors of the possibility for Sony to create their own rendition of the Nintendo Switch, we might see something in the future to compete against the continually growing platform.
