The Tomb Raider franchise first started in 1996 when the first game was released for Sega Saturn and PlayStation. Since then there have been many new entries into the series including Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and most recently Tomb Raider I-III Remastered.

Crystal Dynamics has announced that the Tomb Raider franchise has now sold over 100 million units ahead of its 28th anniversary on October 25. It has been a busy week with Tomb Raider as the Netflix animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft released.

With this announcement, Crystal Dynamics revealed Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is planned to be released on consoles and PC on February 14, 2025.
