Upon reflecting back to the initial unveiling of the next-generation console Xbox Series X, the jokes and memes continued to roll out based on the appearance of the tall system that architects at Microsoft developed for the system. Majority of the puns referenced the unit to resemble a refrigerator at a smaller scale.

While the jokes later were passed onto Sony Interactive Entertainment as well with users online suggesting the design of the PlayStation 5 to be a distant cousin of a space heater, Microsoft seems to be taking the joke to another level. In a new announcement recently, the firm announces that it will be giving away a literal Xbox Series X fridge.

You can watch the unboxing trailer in the video below:

Gathered from the trailer, Microsoft recreated the packaging for the Xbox Series X to the scale of the refrigerator. Once opened, you can get a glimpse at the appliance imitating the video game console. Once opened, the boot-up chime for the system plays as green lighting from within pours out of the machine.

Microsoft went ahead and stored some food referencing namely franchises advertised for Xbox: Halo Infinite Monster Energy cans, Gears of War-stamped tomatoes, Forza Motorsport-designed donuts, Psychonaut Jello brain, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla glasses, and a Cyberpunk 2077 burrito.

Those interested in entering the giveaway have until November 4, this coming Wednesday. Simply head over to Twitter, retweet the post for the fridge, and use the hashtag #XBXFridgeSweeps to enter. You can read all details on the promotion by heading here.
