The Legend Of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, spoke to IGN recently and suggested that we could expect another Zelda title on the Nintendo Switch after Breath of The Wild.

“I haven’t been able to fully use all of the new features of the system. There could be the possibility of another Zelda on Nintendo Switch”.

He also said:

“I think the core element of Zelda gameplay kind of stays the same. There’s the main character development as well as characters you meet along the way, and then you learn new things as the character develops,” he said. “With that said I think we could keep all that, and then I do wonder how we can expand from here with that in mind.”

With Zelda: Breath of The Wild being the most anticipated game of 2017, Nintendo could have something else in the works already and this means they are pretty confident the console will sell well and BoTW will do great once it releases.
