This Tuesday Kicks Off Apex Legends’ Chaos Theory Collection Event

Already this week, Respawn Entertainment prepares the addition of one more platform for its prolific battle royale, Apex Legends. In that, the 2019 free-to-play release is arriving to Nintendo Switch. Agreeably, the game is fairly late to the platform, so the Titanfall team is offering in-game boosters for users that need the extra nudge to catch up to other systems already playing.

For the remainder of already-support hardware, Respawn Entertainment is issuing a new way to celebrate across this continuously forming ecosystem Apex Legends harbors. Just concluding the Anniversary Collection Event for the title’s birthday of two years, a new map takeover is underway with the Chaos Theory Collection Event.

Alike previous, player can find a drastic alteration to one of the neighboring locations within King’s Canyon. This time, Caustic is marking his own territory with Water Treatment. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

In regards to additions for the game, players can expect the newly introduced ‘Heat Shield’ which blocks the damaging array casted outside of the survival zone. To be hone your use of the new equipment, there will also be a new game mode – Ring Fury. Certain pockets of the ring will open these deposits which inflict damage parallel to the round at the time. Reiterating on the respected equipment, there will now be a survival slot for players to enter either the new Heat Shield or Mobile Respawn Beacon.

Other niché additions welcomed to Apex Legends in this approaching event is Escalation takeovers. Unlike prior game takeovers, Ring Fury will debut this new variant which will be intensified as time progresses and rampancy becomes prevalent later in the season. Players can also select no-fill matchmaking which will queue them into a game independently.

To reiterate on Apex Legends arriving to new devices, the developer previously spoke on its ambitions for the next-generation consoles.
