When exploring the depths of space, the promise for an endless frontier of planets and adventures is a major selling point when it comes to Bethesda’s Starfield. At the previous Xbox Games Showcase, Bethesda Game Studios held a Starfield Direct showcasing everything on the game and effectively illustrated the mass scale its newest RPG has to offer. And the game is rendered very positive despite the absence of Halo or Gears at these events in recent time.
Amongst what has already been confirmed for the new title, Starfield has also unveiled other information on what to expect at launch. In one discovery via Steam, it is revealed that Starfield is going to cost users roughly 120GB of storage to play. In regards to console players on Xbox Series X|S, the new game is to offer a locked performance of 30hz on both devices.
Elsewhere during a recent interview with IGN, game director Todd Howard, he explains what the roadmap for Starfield is shaping up to be after launch. You can view the interview in the video below:
“Look, we’re going to doing a lot of add-on content for Starfield. We love doing it; our fans love it. We will sort of announce the first one- we’re going to do a story expansion pack that is going to be coming. We are planning to do things in various sizes and we’ve done a lot of that in our previous games so it’s something we really like doing and fans like. So despite the size of the game, there are still things we want to add as far as features, stories, and stuff like that. We think this is a game, hopefully, that can continue for a long time.”
So far, it is already confirmed that players can pay ahead for the Premium Edition Upgrade for Starfield. The contents of the enhancement includes early access, in-game content, and also the first DLC titled ‘Shattered Space’. You can read the full report by heading here.
