Top 5 Games for Low-quality PCs

Realism in games is good, but what about the soul? An interesting storyline that makes you want to jump up and down in your chair? A vivid character that you won’t want to part with when the game is over? All this can be found in most of the titles at Hellspin and games that have long been true classics.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel

One of the most famous “diablo clones”. These games are called top-down action role-playing games that are built on the timeless mechanics of Diablo. That is, you have several heroes who gain more interesting abilities over the course of the game. The player wanders through a large world with dungeons and slays various creatures. You get gold or an item of clothing from the monsters.

Gameplay is uncomplicated, which means that the entry threshold to the game is low. That said, Sacred 2 offers a large map with five regions that differ in design, music, and types of enemies.

Fallout 3

The game is about an asylum seeker who has been underground for a long time after a nuclear explosion on the surface. After leaving his underground home, he discovers that there is life outside the bunker after all. What’s more, people are uniting into cities, howling with mutants and still can’t share anything. The plot revolves around the search for the protagonist’s father and the rebirth of one of the cities.

Fallout 3 is the first game in the series that breaks beyond isometrics, moving the player into the body of the hero with a first-person view. Thrilling quests, deep role-playing system allowing to play both good guy and bad guy, cool combat system with the series’ signature aiming – all this helped Fallout 3 become a classic of RPG genre. We don’t have the original Fallout on our list, but we recommend the first two parts as well.

Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne

The Frozen Throne is an addition to the classic strategy game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, so it’s better to get the full set.

Warcraft 3 is a classic that will be fun to play even in the 2020s. Especially since the RTS genre has been going through bad times for years. The gameplay is simple: you have a base, as well as workers. First, they collect resources, which allows you to build barracks. Besides the barracks come other buildings. Gradually building up, the player must attack the enemy and defeat him in a fair fight on a small map.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

A first-person horror about an FBI agent who fights psychopaths and criminals. In 2005 it astonished critics and gamers with its “dirty and realistic locations”, combat system combining melee and gun battles, and grim story. It’s such a violent game that it was even legally banned in Germany!

Forager

The game was released in 2019. Despite its primitive appearance, Forager offers many interesting gameplay features. The game is based on exploration, farming, and item creation. You can build bases “out of nothing,” buy land “for nothing” and grow, if not a son, at least some useful vegetable, through which you can improve your virtual life. And there are many dungeons and other locations in the game that are waiting to be explored.
