While nostalgia is always in the back of our minds when it comes to the most memorable release for each player, sometimes players get to relive those titles when developers/publishers relaunch prior work with remastered/reworked properties for newer hardware. For the sake of Toy Soldiers, the series is planning to return later this year.
Earlier on in 2021, developer Accelerate Games announced that it will be working on an HD version for Toy Soldiers. At the time, it was revealed that the game will ship sometime in August later on in the summer then. However, there was no approximate launch date for the game. And rightly so now as it appears that a few more weeks of polishing is needed for the game.
In a new trailer for Toy Soldiers HD, Accelerate Games reveals that the remastered project is now shipping later on in September one month later than promised. You can watch the release date trailer in the video below:
“Toy Soldiers HD gives you the ability to experience the battle from both top-down strategic perspective and a first-person POV take the action into your own hands perspective,” the description for the trailer reads for the overview for Toy Soldiers HD.
Previously, it was announced that Toy Soldiers is officially receiving a sequel. While the IP did expand with Toy Soldiers: Cold War following the original release close to a decade ago, developer Signal Studios unveiled Toy Soldiers 2: Final Hour. You can read the full report by heading here.
